International Container Survey Buro (ICSB) was established on August 1980 in Rotterdam. The company has grown from a small and humble beginning, offering local container related services to fully customer oriented global container services. ICSB has spread a global network of more than 100 representatives worldwide, offering a comprehensive services to the customer.

Container operators and leasing companies have engaged our full range of container related services that include containers survey, cargo survey, tanks survey, new build container survey & class certification in major factories, depots and ports.

During In-Service or Off-Hire conducted, new damages such as floor board’s oil stain, interior panel scratches, handling damage, etc over a certain approval amount, a request with manifest or bill of lading from client’s local office/agent to establish a third party claim to the Shipper or Consignee. Processing of individual report with photo to support the claim is sent to the liable party.

In 1993, a "Full Management Package" (FMP) was born to catering the market demands of managing and monitoring the operator's M&R costs. Within the FMP, operators are charged with a fix fee per unit/per month that includes all survey fees carried out by ICSB.
